BACKGROUND:
So many great SB producers in this world - I didn’t feel like I needed to be the next one. But, for the special edition series Milk Fed, my own little experimental lab where I always have free reign to experiment with a variety I’ve always really enjoyed - it was the prefect one-off fit. Only about 700 bottles made.

STYLE:
Slightly riper, with a very subtle American oak treatment to further enhance it, this is a great rendition that embraces the sunshine iof California. It’s still a food friendly, acid driven wine - but it has a little more plushness.

VINEYARD:
Saureel Vienyard is nestled high up in the mountains in El Dorado County. This allows for warm days and cooler nights, which is ideal for grape maturity and acid retention. I

ve worked with this vineyard for many years, and it always produces great fruit.
